SHOW CAR - Wizard Roadster 1974.
I am selling our 1974 VW Beetle Wizard Roadster with much sadness due to a
move to the States. This car is well looked after as it is part of the family. It is
in excellent condition inside and out, (Show Condition).
This car started life as a ‘74 Orange 1300 with no MOT, and cost £200. In 1991 John Abbott built
this, his first car. John now builds VWs, as well as designing and building
wheels. He runs www.javaglobalenterprises.com.
This car has won shows in the UK and Europe, Winning 4 competitions in the
1992 Bug In, VW Action, Bug Jam and 2nd place at Beetle Bash all the way
through to the last Show & Shine entered where it won in its Class at VW Action
2005.
This car is ready to show and will go on to win Shows. It has been featured
in many Mags as well as being on the front cover of VolksWorld May 1991 and
the centre spread. This car is not just used as a show car, but covered a
500-mile trip over the summer with no problems, it’s a great car to drive and fun
to own. This car has only covered an amazing 29,000 miles and I have all of
paper work, plus every MOT certificate to back this up, as well as various
magazines.
It has a New JVC CD player with 2 x 12inch Kenwood Subs and a set of Kenwood
6X9 plus a Kenwood amp. It has recently had a new 4 tip Monza Exhaust and
Roof fitted. This is a one of a kind car, you will never see one like this and
